ANGELA VANNOSTRAND, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy/Owner

Dr. Angela VanNostrand earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Health Foundations and has earned the American Physical Therapy Association’s Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Pelvic Health (CAPP-Pelvic).

Angela’s clinical experience includes caring for patients with chronic pain, pelvic floor conditions, orthopedic and neurological conditions, and rehabilitation needs before and after surgery. She combines evidence-based treatment with individualized attention, taking time to understand each patient’s goals and how their symptoms affect daily life.

Angela also serves as an Intermittent Lecturer in Physical Therapy in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Michigan-Flint, helping educate the next generation of physical therapists.

As the owner of On the Move Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Angela is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery.

Outside the clinic, Angela enjoys running, biking, and spending time with her family and her two rescue dogs.

JASON HOCKEMEYER, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Jason Hockemeyer earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville. He is certified in both Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and dry needling. His SFMA training helps him identify movement patterns that may contribute to pain and physical limitations.

With several years of clinical experience, Jason enjoys helping patients of all ages move better and return to the activities they love. He has worked with athletes at all levels, including college athletes, developing individualized rehabilitation and training plans to support their return to sport. He also works with older adults to address persistent pain and improve everyday function.

Jason’s approach focuses on understanding the factors contributing to each patient’s symptoms and developing a treatment plan that supports their individual needs and goals.

Outside the clinic, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and watching sporting events.

PATRICIA ZANOTTI

Patient Care Coordinator

Staff Support Specialist

A retired educator, Pat brings a caring approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a heart for helping others to On the Move Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. She keeps our clinic clean, organized, and welcoming while providing outstanding administrative support to our staff and patients.

Pat has been instrumental in keeping On the Move thriving, standing beside our owner through the clinic’s earliest days and every stage of its growth. Her dedication and steady support mean more than words can express. Our owner often says she would not feel whole without Pat by her side. She is truly part of the heart of On the Move, and we are grateful for everything she brings to our clinic so we can continue to provide the best patient care.

CAROLINE TEMPLE, PTA, BA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Clinic Operations Coordinator

Caroline graduated from Delta College in 2024 with her associate’s degree in Athletic Sciences and Physical Therapist Assistant. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Saginaw Valley State University, with minors in Athletic Coaching and Theatre and Performing Arts.

Caroline enjoys the challenges and problem-solving that physical therapy offers, helping patients work toward their goals and return to the activities they love. As our Clinical Operations Coordinator, she also supports day-to-day clinic operations, assists with billing, and helps keep the clinic organized and running smoothly. She leads our community classes, such as "ChairFit" therapy.

Her special interests include dance and yoga, reflecting her enthusiasm for movement and proper form. Outside the clinic, Caroline volunteers with local high school theatre departments, teaching dance and helping aspiring actors and dancers develop proper movement techniques.

When Caroline isn’t helping patients thrive, you’ll find her on stage, sharing her love of performing and bringing smiles to our community.
